New Faces @ LGSD
Josh Ego
Behavioral Intervention Specialist, La Grande Middle School
Josh said he is excited to be in La Grande because of the mountain air. He earned his master’s degree at EOU and has worked in education for eight years. He started out coaching and working at the district level in the Umatilla School District and has taught social studies for the past six years.
Asked what inspired him to work in the education field, Josh said, “Teachers! I get so much energy from connecting with others. I get paid to do this!?”
His goal for his new job is to get his feet under him in a new discipline and brand new position.
A 50/50 part-time, single dad to a four-year-old, Josh said he likes to do lots of different things – “I am a Trailblazer fan, nerdy consumer of movies, music lover, outdoor enthusiast and eater of fine cuisine.”
