6th Grade Students Return January 11th
9:00 Class Starts (Breakfast will be eaten in class)
10:14-11:14 Elective Period (This will be on a rotating schedule)
1:20 Students who walk home or are picked up will be released
1:25 Students who ride the bus will be released
*Lunch will be given to students at their release time
Schedule
6th grade will be coming back on an A/B schedule. This means that students whose last names start with letters A through K will show up on Monday, Jan 11 at 9 AM and attend live in person every other day following. Students with last names L through Z will show up on Tues Jan 12 at 9 AM and attend every other day following. Please see the A/B schedule located on the LMS webpage. Students with last names A-K will attend physically on A days, while students with last names L-Z will attend physically on B days. After their first day of in person learning, students will have required assignments/activities/classwork to complete for each class on their asynchronous (not live in person) school days. Students being picked up or walking home will be released at 1:20. Students riding the bus will be released at 1:25 to help with congestion in the hallways. The purpose for the A/B schedule is to allow for mandated distancing within school and the classrooms.
Supplies
Students will need to bring a backpack, Chromebook, charger, pencils, and three ring binder to school.
Food
Students will be given a grab and go breakfast upon entering the building at 9 AM. They will then take the food straight to their first class of the day and eat in the classroom. Extra time has been allocated to the first class of the day to allow for breakfast and morning announcements. Students will be allowed to bring a small snack from home to eat at the beginning of 3rd period. Lunch will be served at the end of the day at 1:30. Students walking home or being picked up can take it with them. If students are riding the bus, they will eat in the LMS Commons with their bus cohort group and remain there until bus pick up at 2:00.
