Dress Code

Just a reminder, as the weather warms up and the layers come off, that LMS does enforce the dress code.  The basic idea behind the dress code is to maintain the learning environment for all students attending the middle school and prepare students for dress code expectations that they will likely encounter in the workforce.  Some of the most common infractions that we see in our halls include:

* T-shirts with inappropriate language or graphics

* T-shirts cut open the length of the sides

* Shorts and skirts that are shorter than fingertip length

* Spaghetti straps or shirts that show bare midriff

* Articles of clothing that allow for underwear to be visible

Our buildings do get warm as the months progress, and the expectation for students and staff is that we dress in a manner that is appropriate to the work we do in our school.  Students caught wearing clothing in violation of the dress code will be asked to change.  If alternative clothing is not available to them at the school,  they will be asked to call or go home to obtain acceptable clothing.  Thank you for your support!

Please see LMS Dress Code Policy:
