Next week on March 14th, LHS will host our College, Career & Military Fair! This event has been postponed since 2019, so we are excited to bring this back to the community this year.
This year we have over 40 colleges, businesses and branches of the military. Our largest fair yet!
This event is free and open to the public. We encourage everyone to attend. At 5:30 PM the Oregon Public University schools (UO, OSU, OSU Cascades, EOU, WSU, SOU, PSU & Oregon Tech) will do a 30 minute presentation in the main auditorium. The fair tables will open at 6 PM in the gym.
All school age students can enter a raffle and we usually draw prizes every 15 minutes. All of the local businesses offer family wage employment with benefits and some are ready to hire or offer internships.
Please encourage your students and families to attend. When we get large crowds at these events, colleges are more likely to return the following year.
