
Girls Wrestling: Our very own LHS Girls Wrestling team attended the Regional Wrestling meet this past weekend. The team competed hard, and took first place! We had 7 Wrestlers place in the top 4 who will be attending the State Tournament at the end of the month, and 4 more that only missed state by 1 place! Please help us congratulate these young ladies on a fantastic tournament and 1st place finish!

Boys Wrestling attended the Reser Tournament of Champions this weekend in Hillsboro. Varsity took 3rd overall in the tournament, and JV took 2nd overall. The teams placed several wrestlers in the top of their weight classes:

School Exclusion Day:
Parents/guardians, if you received a letter from CHD stating your student is due for a vaccine, or we are missing vaccine records, please get that in as soon as possible. Oregon law requires that all students be up-to-date unless they have an authorized exemption. Exclusion Day is February 15th, after that, any student who is still out of compliance will not be able to attend school

February is CTE (Career Technical Education) Month
February is National CTE Month. Career and Technical Education provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.
La Grande students have the opportunity to take CTE classes in the following areas: agriculture, natural resources, manufacturing, visual arts, performing arts, business, hospitality & tourism and medical.

Basketball Game Changes:
Basketball fans, we have a couple of game changes for the week. JV2 boys and girls basketball games against Pendleton are now being played on Tuesday, January 31st. Girls will start at 4 pm.
Boys basketball vs Nyssa has been moved to Wednesday, February 1st. Games will begin with JV2 at 3:30 pm.

Tiger Fans, please help us congratulate LHS Boys Swimming as they took first at the Madras Swim invite this weekend, and the LHS Girls Swimming as they took 3rd place! Congratulations Tiger Swimmers!

Swimming: La Grande Swim Teams competed in Molalla on Saturday, January 21st. We would like to congratulate both teams on a fantastic weekend. Girls placed 5th place out of 15 teams, the teams combined for 2nd place over all, and the boys team placed 1st! Go Tigers!
